Application Steps

 |
1. Remove old caulk, loose grout, etc., especially any pockets of mildew. |
 |

 |
2. If the caulk that you just removed was silicone, you must eliminate all residues
or your new sealant will not adhere well. Use a silicone remover such as McKanica®
Silicone Caulk Remover*. |

 |
3. Sanitize the area with a household bleach mixture (1:9 bleach to water) to kill
any existing mildew. Work the mixture into the joint and scrub well using a brush. |

 |
4. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly. |
 |

5. Trim the nozzle at an angle to desired bead size. |
 |

6. Squeeze MildewFree into the joint. |
 |
|

7. Smooth the bead with a wet foam brush, putty knife or finger. |
 |

 |
8. Clean up with soap and water.Allow a minimum of 24-48 hours before exposure
to water. |
